Programmes and Activities of The Indian Association of the Experiment in International Living

Intercultural Education

The Indian Association of The Experiment offers educational opportunities through an array of individual and group oriented international exchange and community service opportunities. Throughout the years the original concept of The Experiment has remained steadfast – enabling individuals of all ages to share experiences, languages, and customs with those from different traditions, with the goals of broadening horizons, gaining lifelong friends, and advancing peace.

National Integration Programme

This program aims to instill the feeling of National Integration in the minds of Indian youth at both the high school and college level. The following activities are included in this programme:

Training and Orientation

Conducted in collaboration with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), this program aims to provide cross-cultural orientation to Experiment participants, host families and international students coming to India for further studies.

Community Education

Meetings, discussions and seminars are held in conjunction with the international days prescribed by the United Nations:

Study Circles offering lectures and discussions on important topics are periodically arranged. Experts in areas such as Population and Environment, Women's welfare, Educational Challenges, Social Change, Gandhi and thought etc. are invited to address Experiment meetings and exchange views.
