INLEX/CA is a training organization based in Guatemala with branches in Costa Rica and Nicaragua. We offer a variety of programs for foreign nationals and local professionals as well as students. INLEX/CA is for people who are interested in participating in group experiences where learning happens through immersion in real-life situations, observations, discussions with local people, processing, and hands-on learning.

INLEX/CA's mission is to strengthen human resources in Central America through volunteer programs, educational tours and internships.

In addition, INLEX/CA provides opportunities to students, professionals and interested people from countries outside the Central American region, to better understand the reality and challenges faced by the countries of the region.

We work towards:

-sustainability in the projects and communities that we work in

-programs that promote cultural exchange

-safe programs

-strengthening and empowering communities

-authentic experiences for our volunteers

-facilitating education

INLEX/CA Staff

INLEX/CA is a team of highly qualified people. Our office began with former US Peace Corps staff in Guatemala in 2005 who wanted to provide flexible programs that would allow prospective volunteers to choose how long and what they wanted to volunteer in.
