INLEX/CA is a training organization based in Guatemala.   We offer a variety of programs for foreign nationals and local professionals as well as students.   INLEX/CA is for people who are interested in participating in group experiences where learning happens through immersion in real-life situations, observations, discussions with local people, processing, and hands-on learning.

inLEX/CA Staff

INLEX/CA is a team of highly qualified people.   Mainly Latin American with graduate degrees obtained in the United States, our staff has extensive knowledge in areas such as international education, training, non-formal education, human resource development, cross-cultural training, social studies, agriculture, and philosophy.   With previous work experience for institutions such as the US Peace Corps, World Learning Inc., CARE International, Partners of the Americas, U.S. AID, Overseas Education Fund, and various colleges and universities in the U.S. and Latin America, our staff has sound skills in planning, implementation and evaluation of training for development, cross-cultural training, and management training.   Geographically, INLEX staff has experience working in the United States, Guatemala, El Salvador, Belize, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, and Thailand.

Carlos Columbi

 

Carlos Colombi - INLEX President and Director

Carlos is responsible for the overall coordination of the volunteer program: with sending offices, Spanish schools and host organizations. Carlos has extensive experience as trainer for the US Peace Corps in different parts of Latin America

 

 

Gloria Solis - Director and Family Coordinator

Gloria is in charge of the Eterna Primavera Language School. She is responsible for the Spanish training in this area, including homestays, Spanish interviews and classes. Gloria has graduate studies in Education as well as experience in Spanish training in the US and training for the US Peace Corps in Guatemala and other Latin American countries.

 

Alicia Lamm

Alicia Lamm - Program Assistant

Alicia plays several roles: Administrative and logistic coordinator; responsible for the initial orientation.
