The Language Experience office is centrally located in the historical San Telmo area, with easy access by subway and bus from the center of the city. It is a modern building with spacious class rooms and a garden full of flowers and a seibo tree (our national flower). TLE was founded in 1962, as the National Office of the Experiment in International Living in Argentina. Since then we have expanded considerably and nowadays we are representatives of various educational organizations:

For the past three consecutive Winter seasons The Language Experience has also interviewed, screened and sent participants on J1 visas for Holiday Work programs in the US. In 1982 we launched our English language training programs in Buenos Aires. Today, we train adults both "in company" and on our own premises, offering year-round courses as well as short, intensive immersions.
At present we host the following programs:
Summer Abroad
Sponsored by WORLD LEARNING/THE US EXPERIMENT IN INTERNATIONAL LIVING for groups of high school students under the guidance of experienced leaders, it includes cross cultural orientation in Buenos Aires, homestay with language classes and community service projects in communities such as Salta, Posadas or Santa Fe followed by an ecological trekking adventure. Elderhostel
Our first Elderhostel group came in 1996. Elderhostel is a not-for-profit organization that provides exceptional learning adventures to nearly 200,000 older adults each year. They believe that learning is a lifelong pursuit that opens minds and enriches lives. The believe that sharing new ideas, challenges and experiences is rewarding in every season of life. At present Experiment Argentina/The Language Experience offers:
- Patagonia: Land of Magnificent Contrasts- twice a year
- Discovering Wines and Traditions in Argentina and Chile - three times a year
- Tango: Step by Step - once a year

World Learning School for International Training
Since Fall 2002 we are responsible for the 60 credit hours of Spanish language courses and for the homestay component of SIT – Southern Cone. SIT (School for International Training) prepares a new generation of internationalists with the cross-cultural skills and capacity to lead in multicultural environments and create sustainable change. It also offers intensive training, continuing education courses, and graduate degrees in the fields of peace and conflict transformation, international education, intercultural communications, sustainable development, and the teaching of languages, as well as one of the world’s most extensive college-level study abroad programs. www.sit.edu
